We are thankful for our listeners who tuned in this morning as discussed the aftermath of Snowzilla! We hope to all be back in-studio together tomorrow!

Brian Patrick and Gloria Purvis discuss the biggest news stories of the day including the Democratic town hall airing this evening–and the importance of showing up to vote in the 2016 presidential election with so much at stake! Producer Alyssa Murphy and Father John Barry also join!

Guests include Matt Hadro of the Catholic News Agency discussing an exclusive interview he had with Dewayne Brown who spent years on death row in Texas for a crime he did NOT commit, now exonerated. Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America joins to give the latest on Congressional Republicans making moves to override the Presidential veto on defunding Planned Parenthood–and what can we do to help! We’ll also talk about the state of marriage in this country with Brian Brown, President of the National Organization for Marriage, especially the integrity of one judge in the great state of Alabama!

  1. While I appreciate your enthusiasm for the family and the foundation it must play in our faith and our society, you guys were using too many absolutes and stomping on adoption – go listen to your words if you disagree. My wife and I adopted our daughter through Catholic Social Services in Pensacola 32 years ago. We have been a family as are the vast majority of those who build a family through adoption. I would be surprised if anyone has statistics, but I believe the rate of problems and challenges in families is probably the same for adopted as naturally born families.

    • Hi Jay! Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I’ve worked with foster youth who dream about being adopted so I very much thank you for your thoughts and I will share with the team here–we’ll try to address this on-air tomorrow.. Thank you for listening and your views are very much appreciated!

God Bless you and your family!

      Thanks,
      Alyssa
