  1. Hi Alyssa,

Could you give me the link to the political action link spoken about this morning? I’d like to subscribe to their updates.

On another note, the service that you are doing for Christ and the Catholic community at Morning Glory can not be overstated.

    God bless, Jim

  2. Would you please send me a copy of the prayer read this morning regarding families with autistic children? Thank you. My husband and I really like your show. Sarah Kennedy

  3. Great interview with Lila! Thanks for this disturbing government overreach.

I want to remind you of the tactics of the left: the intelligentsia pronounce that THEY think they know best about how people should live their lives.
Unfortunately, morning glory falls for this trap over and over. Fridays segment about pay day loan is no exception. The left spins and twists facts, and use fancy words like “choice ” and “gouge” to wu our emotions.

Pay day loans offer short term loans by the day or week, a hundred dollar loan is charged 15 or 20 dollars as interest. The intelligentsia twists this figure by lumping it into an ANNUAL rate. People see the annual rate and are indignant, and the government is called in, fighting on the side of angels against the forces of evil.

Oregon passed a law that prohibited these rates. Most of the pay day loans went out of business. A charge of $1.50 compared to 15$ for a 100$ loan for a few days was not worth their business.

We will never hear about the poor who has one more option taken off the table thanks to the “heroes” in the media and the intelligentsia. The intelligentsia can sip a drink and brag about how they saved the poor again. Unintended consequences of another option taken off the table for the poor? The intelligentsia doesn’t care, they saved the day
