Join us as we enter into the week of Thanksgiving on EWTN radio! MUCH to discuss as Pope Francis closed the Doors of Mercy as the Jubilee Year comes to an end AND 17 new Cardinals! We’ll get the latest from Alan Holdren of Catholic News Agency and hear about a letter the Holy Father releases tomorrow! Find Alan’s work at!

We’ll also discuss the problem of pornography with Matt Fradd. Founder and Executive Director of the Porn Effect & Director of Content Strategy for Integrity Restored, learn more about Matt at As Catholics, we might recognize that pornography is harmful, strive to protect our kids from it and avoid it ourselves, but how do we address this topic with others? We’ll discuss some tips and the best ways to approach friends, family members, coworkers or even strangers (!) who are using pornography to provoke them to consider how porn use is harming them.

A busy legislative agenda is expected with new leadership within Congress. Now that Republicans have maintained control of the House and Senate – and now won the White House, Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List joins to tell us what we might expect concerning the potentiality of defunding Planned Parenthood. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan announced a couple of days ago that although President Obama vetoed a bill that essentially did defund the abortion giant, his stance has not changed and he plans to move full-speed ahead on the issue this coming congressional year!
