We have a fun show planned for you tomorrow morning at 7am ET on EWTN radio! Father Thomas Petri will be back with us taking us out of this full week of a New Year that has MUCH in store! With just about a week until the 2017 Presidential Inauguration of Donald J. Trump, the Senate has been a revolving door with his many Cabinet nominees being grilled on topics pertinent to their position–and some not so pertinent. We’ll discuss General Mad Dog Mattis, Mike Pompeo, and Ben Carson taking the hot seat speaking from his heart about his own upbringing in poverty as he’s being considered to run the Department of Housing and Urban Development. We’ll also talk about a move by members of Congress to block the terrible Assisted Suicide bill that the mayor of DC recently passed.

Guests include Deputy Counsel for First Liberty on a religious liberty case that leaves many Catholic schools at risk, forced to impose transgender policies passed by the Obama Administration. Matt Kacsmaryk joins to tell us what is at stake and more about the 20+ schools that have signed on to the case.

With the anniversary of the Miracle of Fatima coming up in May, we talk with Karlo Broussard about his new book 20 Answers: Miracles! A native of Louisiana, he’s a well known author, speaker, and Apologist working with our friends at Catholic Answers.

The state of Kentucky passed monumental pro-life legislation this week. Governor Matt Bevin signed two bills into law.The late-term abortion law bans the procedures after 20 weeks of pregnancy, except in cases in which the mother’s life is in danger. Physicians who violate the measure could have their medical licenses revoked and could be sentenced to up to 5 years in prison. Under the ultrasound law, physicians are required to display the images so women can see, though they have the option to avert their eyes if they don’t want to see them. Physicians face a $100,000 fine for a first offense and a $250,000 fine for subsequent offenses. We’ll get the latest on the momentum of the pro-life movement in this state with Jason Hall of the Kentucky Catholic Conference!

Our conversation is a two-way street! We want to hear from you! Your ideas and opinions are always encouraged and shared on-air with our listeners.
