Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers
EWTN TV & Radio host, speaker and author, the “Dynamic Deacon” Harold Burke-Sivers is known worldwide for being just that, one of the faiths most dynamic personalities and leaders. He holds a Master of Theological Studies Degree from the University of Dallas, is a Benedictine Oblate and a member of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars and the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy.

Gloria Purvis is a graduate of Cornell University and she worked for nearly two decades in the mortgage industry before becoming a risk management director at a major financial services company. She served on the National Black Catholic Congress’ Leadership Commission on Social Justice, and as an Advisory Board Member on the Maryland Catholic Conference’s Respect for Life Department as well as the Archdiocese of Washington’s Pastoral Council. She also taught Natural Family Planning and helped prepare engaged couples for marriage as a member of a Pre-Cana team in the Archdiocese of Washington. She has appeared in various media outlets including The Washington Post, PBS Newshour, Catholic Answers Live, and EWTN News Nightly.
Currently, she is a full time stay at home mom. She is a Board Member for the Northwest Pregnancy Center and Maternity Home in Washington, D.C. She serves on the Catholic Advisory Board for Ave Maria Mutual Funds. She serves a lay consultant to the U.S. Bishops’s Committee on Religious Liberty. She is the creator and host of the EWTN tv series, Authentically Free at Last, that deals with the modern challenges to the expression and understanding of authentic human freedom. She also hosts the morning radio program, Morning Glory, on EWTN Global Catholic Radio. She is dedicated to promoting the sanctity of human life, marriage, and the dignity of human person.

Monsignor Charles Pope
Msgr. Charles Pope is a native of Chicago, Illinois and was ordained a Priest in 1989. Msgr. Pope attended George Mason University for Undergraduate Studies were he attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and worked with the Army Corp of Engineers as a Computer Systems Analyst. Msgr. Pope’s interest in the Priesthood stems from his experience as a Church musician. During his college years, he served as a Church Organist, a Cantor, and a Choir Director which led him to discover his vocation to the Priesthood. He entered Mt. Saint Mary’s Seminary and earned a Master of Divinity Degree as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Moral Theology. Monsignor Charles Pope was ordained into the Priesthood and has served at Mt. Calvary Parish in Forestville, MD, Associate Pastor at St. Mary’s Parish in Laurel, MD, Pastor of St. Thomas More Parish in Southeast Washington, DC, and Holy Comforter St Cyprian Parish where he currently serves as Pastor.

Father Vincent De Rosa
Father Vincent De Rosa was born in Glen Cove, New York. He attended public primary school and Catholic High School. Studies brought him to Washington where he received a degree in International Affairs and History from the George Washington University. There, he discerned his call to the Priesthood at the Newman Catholic Student Center. It was also there that Father discovered a love for young adult ministry. During university studies, Father worked as a Program Manager for the GWU Department of International Education, and on Capitol Hill for the US Association of Former Members of Congress. After undergraduate studies, Fr. De Rosa entered seminary for the Archdiocese of Washington. He studied Philosophy at Mount Saint Mary, and Theology in Rome (STB – Angelicum, STL in Moral Theology – Santa Croce). He was ordained a Priest June 14, 2008. Over the last several years he has been assigned as a Parochial Vicar at St. Peter, and Administrator of St. Joseph and St. Francis Xavier, all in Washington. He has also served as Chaplain to the St. Thomas More Society of Washington, and several Knights of Columbus Councils and the Downtown Serra Club of Washington, DC. Some of Father De Rosa’s interests include travel, camping, hiking, cooking, architecture, orchestral music, art, and theater.
